PV InfoLink has put out its 2021 module shipment rankings and the lineup is LONGi, JA Solar and Trina tying for 2nd, Jinko, Canadian Solar, Risen, Hanwha Q Cells, First Solar, Suntech, and Astronergy. Manufacturers that didn’t make the list shipped an average volume of 3-4 GW. The unfortunate news for small manufacturers is that these top 10 accounted for more than 90% of 172.6 GW of demand, much higher than the previous 70-80%. PV InfoLink also found that large format modules are becoming much more popular.
