K2 Systems has created a solution to a chronic issue for installers working on tile roofs: tile roofs have a gap between the tile and decking surface, which complicates handling requirements re flashing/underlayment during an install. K2 recently incorporated EverSeal into their hook offerings, EverSeal being the same butyl used in their Splice Foot products. EverSeal is better than metal flashings on asphalt shingle roofs as no sealant is needed and removes the need to pry up nails or shingles. It is also much faster for installs on tile roofs.
