This new tech detects when an appliance that pulls a lot of power is attempting to start up and automatically inhibits the power it consumes. It spreads the energy required over a fraction of a second so the appliance starts up safely each time. End result? Battery systems are more reliable and it’s much more possible for home systems to be independent from the grid.
