Enphase is poised to challenge SolarEdge’s dominance in the US inverter market. In the past year and a half it’s shown steady growth across a number of states including New York, Massachusetts, Texas, Colorado, and Florida. Data show that in October Enphase’s market share actually overtook SolarEdge for the first time and that in December 2020 they held 48% share in selected markets in comparison with SolarEdge’s 40%. Over the summer Enphase launched its Encharge battery in the US and a res module in Europe.
