A research team recently conducted an audit of solar PV racks and trackers on display at RE+ 22, looking at 19 different racking products and 92 bolted joint designs. They identified 83 areas of concern, many of which were “quite serious” and could lead to significant financial loss and safety issues (particularly for systems near pedestrians).
