Edgehog Advanced Technologies is launching an effort to expand their super-transmissive, self-cleaning solar glass size from the current 6-in. diameter size to accommodate the full solar panel size. Their eluminar glass has nano-sized textures resulting in super-transmissive, antireflective invisible glass and a self-cleaning surface where water actually rolls off the surface. Edgehog projects that solar panels with their tech would increase energy generation by up to 12%. Their plan is to have market launch by late Q3 or early Q4 2022.
