The U.S. Solar Market Insight 2023 Year-in-Review report from SEIA and Wood Mackenize found that the US installed 32.4 GW in 2023, a 51% increase from 2022. For the first time, it accounted for more than 50% of annual capacity additions (at 53%). Predictions are that total U.S. solar capacity is expected to grow to 673 GW by 2034.
