It lowers payments for solar power fed to the grid and tacks the highest fixed fees in the nation on future rooftop system installs. Unsurprisingly, solar advocates warn that all this would crush this thriving section of the market and stymie California’s clean energy goals. The CPUC has 30 days to propose an alternative.
