Biden has released an executive order for the fed government to shoot for carbon-free electricity on a net annual basis over the next nine years. Half of it will be emissions-free around the clock. This will mean a bolstering of the EV sector, given that Biden also banned the fed government from purchasing fossil-fueled light-duty vehicles by 2027 as well as gas or diesel vehicles by 2035.
