Solar Builder spoke with David Dunlap, VP of Operations for BayWa r.e., about the state of supply chain restraints now and into the future. Dunlap discusses current issues and makes predictions about products (like tech development), pricing (i.e. prices will go down eventually but not to the extremely low prices of pre-COVID anytime soon) and policies. He also offers some advice to contractors about issues like how to manage consumer demand (which isn’t going anywhere even with COVID restrictions) and creating supply buffers.
