At long last a full strength FERC!

The senate has confirmed Mark Christie and Allison Clements to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), making it the first full, bipartisan commission of five members in two years. Given that Neil Chatterjee leaves in June FERC will soon have a democratic majority. Several renewable advocates, like Grid Strategies prez and the American Council on Renewable Energy CEO praised this move. Many hope that a complete committee will herald some larger policy changes like hybrid storage and generation regulation and parameters for storage as transmission.
