A cleantech integrator and a small biz renewable energy company have joined forces to bring clean energy to the Department of Veterans Affairs and other federal agencies. Ameresco Inc. specializes in energy efficiency and renewable energy while Hannah Solar Government Services (HSGS) is a service-disabled veteran-owned company. They’ve entered into a joint venture as part of the SBA Mentor Protégé Program. HSGS is gaining exposure and getting access to government contracts through the more experienced Ameresco, which is made up of a team of government contractors.
