A new database from Rhodium Group and MIT identified $213 billion in new clean investments across the U.S. in the past year — a 37% increase from the year before and a 165% increase from five years ago. They have the data broken down into 3 major categories: manufacturing, energy and industry, and retail with retail having the most funding with $113 billion and manufacturing seeing the most growth.

PV Magazine reports that Trina Solar, Canadian Solar, and Longi have each announced 5 GW domestic solar module manufacturing facilities, adding a combined total of 15 GW of capacity. As of April 2023, American Clean Power states that over an eight-month period, 46 utility-scale clean energy manufacturing facilities were announced, bringing an expected 18,000+ jobs.

Panasonic has launched two new lines of EverVolt solar modules and an updated EverVolt energy storage system. The 430HK2/420HK2 Black Series modules are made with half-cut cells and heterojunction tech with gapless connections, and the 405PK2/400PK2 Black Series modules are made with PERC tech and half-cut cells for max conversion efficiency and higher power output at a more accessible price point.
