SolarAcademy Journal: Power Balance

It is Week 11 at SolarAcademy.

Accomplishments last week:

I had two major tasks to accomplish last week.

    1. Start building content for our class.
    2. And reorganize some of the content on the website.

It is fair to say I had limited progress on both tasks. Yet I was busy with other exciting engagements helping professionals advance their entry into solar, helping an established solar company plan and strategize for 2021 and beyond… Discussing a number of initiatives around the topic of teaching entrepreneurship, not only in the content of solar, but also in the context of general startups for young students around the world.

I also helped organize a 30+ session on zoom to bring together some old friends around the topic of healthy living, healing, meditation, and more…

Goals:

I actually plan to take most of this week off. I intend to do a 4 day no electronics fast, starting mid Wed. In the next day and a half, I hope to make some more progress on the content front for both the class as well as the various pieces of content under the SolarAcademy website. And that is all I am setting as a goal for this week.

One thing I feel like writing as I finish this post is about the topic of “Power Balance”. I feel like the power balance in the US is rapidly shifting from the east coast to the west coast, from finance to tech. The rich techies are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. The wealth gap is widening each day. I am not sure where this will end but I feel like a re-balance is coming due.

It will happen one way or another. Curious to see how that will come about.
