Ohio-based Toledo Solar, cadmium telluride thin-film solar panel manufacturer, will end all R&D efforts and will begin shutting down operations effective immediately. The company had a 100 MW production line of modules for resi and C&I projects. However, First Solar had filed a lawsuit against them in 2023, which led to this business closure.
