Week 14 here at SolarAcademy.

Accomplishments last week:

• Made steady progress with the “Become a Solar Entrepreneur” course. The intro video is coming along.
• Moved advisory projects forward.
• Connected with David Gershon about Reinventing The Planet initiatives.
• Connected with a number of Int’l contacts about entrepreneurship courses for Turkey
• Evaluated a number of investment opportunities
• Advised a number of companies in the solar and real estate sectors

Goals this week:

• Finalize the first version of the intro video for the “Become a Solar Entrepreneur” course.

I called this week’s theme the Power of Discipline. Sometimes one has to let go and surrender. And sometimes one has to wait for inspiration to come. But without discipline little gets built. I am in such a space right now. I have spent most of 2020 with research, observation, and lots of inspiration. Now is the time for discipline.  Not just in SolarAcademy, but in everything.

On that note, I’d like to highlight one of my best role-models on the topic of discipline. Fred Wilson is my favorite venture capitalist. He has been blogging every single weekday without a skip for 18 years about his work. The end result is one amazing community for him to share his wisdom with and also learn from. I can only wish that SolarAcademy becomes a similar success one day…
