The possibility of The Inflation Reduction Act is creating excitement in the industry. US panel manufacturer First Solar saw an uptick in module sales (they’re sold out through the end of 2023), and they’re contemplating two new utility-scale factories in the U.S. They’re also toying with a partnership with SunPower to manufacture resi modules.
