FERC is apparently going into hyperdrive around transmission reform, seeking to address the chronic interconnection bottlenecks. Their goals, says acting FERC Chairman Willie Phillips, are reliability, affordability and sustainability. FERC is also considering ways to bolster regional power sharing.
