New DOE report shows that energy job growth outpaced the broader job market last year, and jobs in the solar industry grew by 5.4%, top among tech. Currently, the energy sector employs 7.8 million in the US with 41% of them (3.1 million) dedicated to net-zero tech. Solar jobs added 17,212 jobs – an increase of 5.4%.
