Investment giant Blackstone has created the Blackstone Credit’s Sustainable Resources Platform, which is centered around investing in and lending to renewable energy companies and other organizations that forward the energy transition. This move comes from their belief that “private capital is essential to supporting decarbonization goals” and the sense that their investment footprint can make them a major catalyst  in the movement. The platform includes 30+ investment professionals across North America and European and will focus on res solar, home efficiency, energy storage and more.
