The DOE is releasing $192+ million in additional funding to help businesses streamline battery recycling processes. This extends the Lithium-Ion Battery Recycling Prize contest, launches an advanced research and development (R&D) consortium for consumer-product batteries, and builds on about $3 billion invested in EV and battery technologies from the Infrastructure Law.
