This report analyzing 60 companies in the 2024 Fortune 100 found that 35% of them stand out for integrating comprehensive strategies for circular processes and product design with credible emissions reduction strategies (like product design and sales models). Top companies include tech conglomerate Cisco, John Deere, Microsoft, Nike, and PepsiCo.

Catalina Energy Capital, a new renewable energy investment bank, has completed three significant solar and BESS infrastructure deals and is set to advise on 4+ GW of solar and storage assets by the end of this year. Its mission is to promote clean energy growth by creating capital solutions across debt and equity capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, climate tech, power purchase agreements, and tax credits.

Clean industry analysts and tax experts weigh in on which clean power and manufacturing tax credits might be cut in 2025 under the Republican trifecta. The reason is the GOP and Trump seek to extend for 10 more years the tax-cut package passed under the first Trump admin and there will need to be offsets for the resulting $4.6 trillion deficit.

The Biden admin has awarded over $100 billion in grants created by the IRA, hoping to use IRA funds before Trump takes office. Trump has pledged to rescind all unspent IRA funds. Biden’s admin says they are no track to pass their goal of obligating usage of 80% of the funds before the end of the year.

WoodMac and SEIA are saying that the U.S. added a record-breaking 9.3 GW of new module manufacturing capacity in Q3, including five new or expanded factories in Alabama, Florida, Ohio and Texas. Total U.S. module manufacturing capacity is now about 40 GW.
