Massachusetts-based company 24M Technologies developed a direct material recycling method for their Semi-Solid battery platform. Dubbed Liforever, the process recycles all active material from the anode and cathode and is meant to reduce the adverse environmental impact of lithium-ion batteries both in process and at end-of-life.
