SolarAcademy Journal: Feminine Power

It is week 9 at SolarAcademy.  Good things keep happening. And some stumbling blocks. But maybe what seems like blocks are not.

Media says the election is over and Trump is out. Trump says not so fast. Today the finance minister of Turkey resigned and the US secretary of defense was fired. The world seems to be in a crucial junction. Who knows what games of power are being played behind closed doors. While I worry about it, a voice is also telling me that somehow out of this chaos will come lots of good.

First let me share some news on SolarAcademy and then I want to share some of my views and feelings on how the world is changing.

Things to do this week:

I titled this week’s update Feminine Power because we are at a time in the evolution of human culture and world history where we are seeing a lot more feminine energy and power in our lives. This is changing the world culture, how we rule, how we share power, and much more.

What do I mean by the feminine and masculine energies?

To me feminine represents the democratic values. Masculine represents the republican values. And I have a simple framework to think about the healthy balance between the two.

A healthy person, couple, group, society, nation, world must balance these. And probably err on the side of a bit more heart/love than head/security to keep with the trend of humanity becoming kinder and gentler with each new generation.

Right now, power balance in the world seems to be shifting towards the feminine. And that is probably a good thing for the health of our planet.

One of the trends I am observing in the past few years is the exponentially growing industries of yoga, meditation, and coaching professionals, which definitely is a “feminine” trend in the society. I think there are a number of reasons why this is happening.

Probably the most important reason is that as more and more masculine energy in the form of technology is infiltrating our personal lives we are feeling more and more disconnected from ourselves and each other. And we are feeling an even deeper need to be connected with each other in a natural meaningful way.

The old religious institutions are not playing the roles they used to. They are losing market share fast and are not able to connect people on a spiritual level at the same level of effectiveness as they used to in the past.

So the slack is being filled by the yoga, meditation, and coaching industries. That is probably a good thing, too, in the name of connecting humanity with a new global language of spiritual connection. I will probably write more about this in the next few weeks.
