Canadian-based Silfab Solar has secured $110 million in sales of advanced manufacturing tax credits. The sale of these credits will generate incremental investments that the panel manufacturer will use to expand U.S. manufacturing facilities. They plan to scale a new cell manufacturing and module assembly facility in SC that will initially produce 1 GWof solar cells and another 1.3 GW of modules.
