Senators Joe Manchin and John Barrasso released the Energy Permitting Reform Act of 2024 that seeks to accelerate the permitting processes for energy and mineral projects of all types in the U.S. It looks to do this via shortened timelines, before, during, and after litigation on federal authorizations for energy (including clean energy) and mineral projects.
