Reuters Events reports that skyrocketing demand from data centers, EV charging, manufacturing and electrification efforts is shaking up the relatively stable U.S. power market. In response to this demand, solar and battery storage are dominating new power installations. Billions in grid investments are needed to modernize and expand the power network and accommodate rising renewables capacity and large energy consumers like data centers. Policy problems, however, keep things uncertain.
