The Energy Storage Tax Incentive and Deployment Act was introduced in the House and the Senate. It’s a bipartisan effort that would offer a stand-alone ITC for energy storage technologies for utilities, businesses and homes and apply it to a wider range of applications than the current provisions allow. Both the U.S. Energy Storage Association and Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions support the bill.
