Biden’s proposal for the 2022 budget is here, and it’s good news for renewables. His administration is calling for a $14 billion increase in climate spending from 2021 levels, which includes $2 billion for renewables projects and $6.5 billion in lending capacity for clean energy generation, energy storage and transmission projects. The focus is on climate mitigation, research and energy efficiency and transmission projects, all under the umbrella of economic recovery and job growth.
