Kerim Baran of SolarAcademy discusses another gamechanging startup in the solar space with HeatSpring‘s Brian Hayden. Kerim talks about ChargeNet Stations, a company setting up a super solar charging network (DC to DC) for electric vehicles that is designed to compete with Tesla.
Here’s the video transcript:
Another company is ChargeNet Stations. They are essentially building a supercharging network that competes with Tesla, serving every other car other than Tesla. I mean, including Tesla, but you know, there’s not a really strong supercharging network besides Tesla around the country on on highways or close to highways. ChargeNet Stations is one such company with DC to DC superchargers.
It’s the solar carport battery combination solution that also is targeting the parking lots of Quickserve restaurants. So they also have the food ordering app APIs to even be able to pre-order your food before you get there or order it while you’re waiting, while the car is charging and so forth.
That’s another one that I really like. And I also made a small investment into that company.
